There’s a war going on?!?!? Wouldn’t know it with the coverage its been getting in the MSM.
Phelps going for 8 gold medals or Russia-vs-Georgia 2: With a Vengence. Only one makes exciting television.

My connection from Vegas to O’Hare got cancelled, so me and Brendan got to spend the night in Vegas on United. Great times!
In other news, my trip was fantastic. Pictures to come…
Take 3!!!

Last week Brendan sent me a link, and the next thing I knew… I was planning a trip to LA to see The Who get rock honoured by Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Flaming Lips, Tenacious D, and Incubus.
Itinerary
Saturday
- Buffalo -> Chicago -> LA
- The Who
Sunday
- Live, Collective Soul, and Blues Traveler
Monday
- LA -> Vegas -> Chicago -> Buffalo
Obviously, random tourist stuff like the Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood Sign, In ‘n Out Burger, Pauley Pavillion, and the Walk of Fame are also on the agenda.
I’m pumped. The past 3 weeks are exactly what I wanted from my summer, I just wish I kept going on trips after I got back from Europe…

Well then…. with 3G capabilities and a new low price, I might have to accept my future as a yuppie.
$200 iPhone vs $500 N95. The battle is a lot more even now.

I’m sitting at a table in the Dana Porter library doing my Asset-Liability Mgmt assignment. Seems pretty normal, right?
Well, I got this table by asking an Asian gentleman who was previously sitting here if it was alright that I joined him. As only half the table’s surface area was being utilized, I figured that he wouldn’t mind and his verbal reply confirmed this.
Right after I took out my newly fixed Macbook (SivjiNote: yay!), he started packing up his stuff to leave. I told him that I could leave if he wasn’t comfortable with me being here, but he told me that he was going anyways and quickly left.
I don’t think I’m ever going to get over how anti-social this school is.
