Segmentation Summer Projects
I created a snake contour method to segment a brain for one my assignments in Medical Imaging. It’s not very robust since it doesn’t break apart / delete control points when overlapping. I think I’m going to make it a bit more robust this summer.
Also on the agenda is implementing Level Sets segmentation.

I couldn’t find a travel buddy for a four month adventure so I decided to spend my summer in Waterloo soaking up the student life before the real world begins.
I’ve enrolled in some pretty interesting classes (Econometrics, Chem 123, Astronomy, German 101, and Philosophy) and am looking forward to my first math-free term since OAC*.

Waterloo Salary Disclosure
University of Waterloo 2007 Salary Disclosure (also available for: 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000). Kudos to the Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act for providing the public with this information.
If I had some time, I’d write up a macro to track changes and report observations (project for the summer, maybe?), but alas, exams week is almost upon us and I gotta put on some finishing touches on my option pricers…
