Winter 2008 Classes
* CO 370 (Deterministic OR Models) – Degree requirement, but its supposed to be application based so that’s always a good thing.
* CO 372 (Portfolio Optimization Models) – I was able to switch a degree requirement with this class and still have it count so yay! I’m expecting good things based on what I’ve been told from people who’ve already taken this class.
* CM 461 (Computational Inference) – I dropped this course last term after they changed the course breakdown on me. Here’s hoping for assignments + projects + no exams.
* CM 464 (Statistical Learning – Function Estimation) – I’ve heard this class is pretty easy and interesting. If the project outline is the same as last year, I’ll probably be implementing Longstaff-Schwartz using k-nearest neighbour. Sounds like fun.
* ECON 372 (Business Finance 2) - This class should cover some of the stuff I had to learn for work so hopefully its a joke.
I have 4 hours of classes on M, W, & F and only a 3 hour night class on Th. Here’s to Bomber Wednesdays!
